Since our ADR recording sessions in June, we’ve been fluttering about to complete the Metamorphosis. 

In July, Douglas completed a beautiful puppet with the help of Zuzu. The two of them plus Scott and Reinel met to capture some shots of it against a blue screen. Behind the scenes, Douglas works steadily to finalize the sound design and tweak the edit.

We couldn’t wait to gather and celebrate the completion of the Metamorphosis this month. We met at Lake Chabot in Castro Valley on a sunny Saturday for drinks and treats. We toasted to our reunion and spoke about the future of the film. Many thanks to the family and friends that came, we are so glad for a growing creative community. 

We are scouting the perfect location for our private screening of the Metamorphosis! This viewing will be a one-time in-person opportunity to see the film in advance of its journey on the festival circuit. The event will feature artwork from the film as well as an opportunity to take photos with the cast and crew. The film will screen mid October. We hope to see you there.
