Dive Underwater

On Labor day weekend September 2025, we shot the live action scenes for Underwater, a new short by Scott Chema. We were fortunate to work with two actors from The Metamorphosis again! Vasilisa and her mother/manager Tanya Badeka traveled to the shoot from Southern California. Bohn Connor, who plays the lead/explorer in this film, joined us both days.
Our crew was small but mighty. Maruf Noyoft was our Director of Photography. Our submarine set was designed and built by Douglas P. Lawlor and Kyle Kaldhusdal. Zuzu Snyder was our wardrobe stylist. Benedict Siegel, Christiana Charalambous, Roman Bargas, Samantha Alvarado, Paul Newton, and Liz Veliz supported onsite to bring the deep sea adventure to life.
